Dr Kath Whitton

Hi, I’m Dr Kath Whitton, a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG). I provide obstetric care at North Shore Private Hospital in St Leonards and the Mater Hospital in North Sydney.
Over many years I have dedicated myself to providing the best in women’s healthcare across all life stages. I studied medicine at The University of Sydney, and completed my Obstetrics and Gynaecology training through Royal North Shore Hospital. My advanced training years were spent working with mentors at North Shore Private Hospital, Mater Hospital and IVF Australia. I have completed the Certificate of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (CREI), a subspecialty qualification that ensures I can provide expert care for couples and individuals seeking fertility.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge with medical students and junior doctors. I find that teaching keeps me up to date and abreast of the most recent research and evidence. I am a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of NSW, an Adjunct Lecturer at The University of Notre Dame and teach at the University of Sydney Northern Clinical School.
I am a mother to three energetic children, lover of all sports, and an advocate of a healthy mind. I look forward to meeting you on your journey for empathetic and compassionate healthcare.
